In the autumn of 2021, my older daughter, Margrét Þóra, requested a bird quilt of her own. Naturally, she chose her favourite bird, the Puffin.
Although it’s a small piece (25x37 cm), I’m amazed at the level of detail this technique allows, even in a quilt of this size. It’s one of my favourite creations so far, but the best part is that my daughter absolutely loves it.
